Q) What Operating System do I need to run Charting?
A) Charting will run on any OS including Windows XP/ME, 2000, 98,
95 and Red Hat Linux 9.0.
Q) Once purchased, will there be an upgrade fee
for all subsequent upgrades?
A) Once you have paid for Charting, you receive all subsequent updates
of it free. Moreover, the users of Charting will be entitled for a
discount for purchacing all future products that contain Charting
as an integral part. The first one to come will be the Analytic station.
Q) Will studies have more style options such as
dot,left tick,right tick, etc.?
A) Yes, we expect to make more style options available,
but the exact date is not known yet. We take a note of
all suggestions we receive from our users. Our aim is
to make IT Locus products best for traders' practical needs.
That's why we highly appreciate all your suggestions.

Q) Will this charting package be able to plug into
Interactive Brokers tws in the future?
A) Yes, the plugin for tws is almost ready. We expect it to be available
within 3-4 weeks.
Q) Can custom written formulas for proprietary
indicators be installed?
A) Yes, use Indicator Builder
for this. It will allow to install custom indicators. Python is used
as scripting language.
Q) Is it $9.99 per month?
A) The price for it is NOT $9.99 per month, but rather
$9.99 for a license. You pay once and the product is yours for
lifetime.
We don't expect the price to be any lower in a month... Actually,
we will probably rise it back to the initial level of $30. $9.99 is
just a special offer.
Q) Can you get the future quote like ES, NQ?
A) Our charting can get quotes for ES and NQ. It supports data from
quote.com (www.quote.com)
and they provide data for these futures (here's their list http://finance.lycos.com/qc/subs/rtfees.aspx).
The symbols look like ES04H and NQ04H.Of course, you
must have an account with Quote.com
to receive their qoutes. See their web-site for details. IT Locus
charting works also with data from Yahoo.
It's free, but it's daily quotes only...
Q) After i loaded EMA and SMA from the study window,
neither values nor lines of EMA and SMA would show up on the charts
like they do in your demo.
A) To load a study, say, EMA, you have to follow the instructions
on our animated
demo tour. i.e:
a. Go to menu "Tools->Properties" of main window
b. Select "Studies"
c. Add the studies you are going to use (EMA plus any others) to the
short list of Studies (i.e. copy them from the left window to the
right one using the arrow buttons). Press "OK". After this the studies you added are
available from any chart window
d. Open a chart
e. Click on "Studies setup" button and select the indicator you want
to see (EMA) from the "New" list. Make sure that the "Visible" boxes
are checked.
