        Indenture

Agreement between lender and borrower which details specific terms of the bond issuance. Specifies legal obligations of bond issuer and rights of bondholders. Document spelling out the specific terms of a bond as well as the rights and responsibilities of both the issuer of the security and the holder.

A contract between an issuer of bonds and the bondholder stating the time period for re-payment, amount of interest paid, if the bond is convertible (and if so, at what price or what ratio), and the amount of money that is to be re-paid.

A written agreement (also called a deed of trust) between a bond issuer and a purchaser which includes:description of bondamount of the issueproperty pledged if not a debenturecovenants given by the issuerworking capital and current ratio of the issuerredemption rights or privileges
